Asparagus/Artichokes–Artichokes are arriving in very limited volume. The quality is very nice! Asparagus
markets are stable as the harvest in Mexico is growing. The quality is excellent. Good volume is available
throughout this week.

Beans/Peas– Blumenberry Farms is harvesting Snow Peas in limited numbers. They are delicious! We also
have fresh arrivals of both Snow Peas and the super sweet Sugar Snap Peas from Mexico. We are currently
looking for a Mexican source of quality beans to fill the gap in supply caused by the freeze last month here in
Florida.

Broccoli/Cauliflower– Cauliflower is being harvested in much better volume. The quality is very nice. Broccoli
production has grown so supplies are good.

Corn– Florida sweet Bi-Color Corn is close to being finished for the winter season. A small supply should be
available for early week shipping.

Cabbage/Celery– We have several sources for Green Cabbage this week and the supply is stable. Red however
is in very tight supply. For variety we have Napa, Bok Choy and California Brussel Sprouts. Celery is beginning
to increase in volume. We have found an excellent source for Florida Celery and the quality is especially nice on
this local product.

Carrots with tops are both available. Beet Root is once again available as well as both Red and Gold Beets with

All Kales and Chards are available in much better numbers. The market is stable and the quality is excellent. The
Collard market is stable with good availability. Dandelion Greens, Radicchio, Rapini, Red Kale and Watercress
make up this week’s variety of leafy green offerings. We are also offering a a very limited supply Red Russian Kale
and Mustard Greens.

Lettuces– There should be more than an ample supply of all Lettuces this week. The quality across the board has
been exceptional. There is an excellent supply of  local Green Romaine. Escarole, Frisee make excellent additions
to your variety lettuce section.

Cucumbers–There is a steady supply of Cucumber from Mexico this week. For the juicers among us we again have
a supply of “choice” Cucumber. Please remember “choice” in the produce world means “cosmetically challenged”.

Peppers –Red, Orange and Yellow Pepper are harvesting in the Dominican Republic. We are also sourcing some
Red “Chopper” pepper from Mexico at this time. Green Bell Pepper is still in very tight supply. Sweet Mini Peppers
are arriving in regular supply. A few Jalapeno and Anaheim are expected to arrive later this week.
