What is the Awesome Organic Club?

The Awesome Organic Club of Wellington, Florida was formed to bring consistently fresh, superior quality, certified Organic produce to our Palm Beach County neighbors at reasonable prices. We achieve these saving by using the combined purchasing power of all the members.

Our members receive mixed variety of organic vegetables and fruits, varying according to market, and seasonal availability. Members receive an equal share of what is ordered for that week. We purchase as much as we can from local sources in order to support our local Florida farmers. As much as possible purchases will be made from organic farmers within the United States to support US Organic Farmers. All our produce is certified through Quality Assurance International, they have been providing the highest level of organic certification services since 1989. Our produce providers are very selective in purchasing only items that come from sustainable farms that are socially responsible.

We are always working to improve the products and selection we carry.

What's the cost?

A typical vegetable and fruit share costs each member $50.00 each delivery date. Best of all there are no membership or start-up fees.

How do I get started?

Go to the Join the Club page and fill out the information requested there and someone will contact you. If a group has an opening in your area we will add you there or you will be placed on a waiting list if there are no immediate openings convenient for you.

How often do I receive a delivery?

Deliveries are every other Monday.

How much produce do I actually receive?

Each member receives somewhere between 25-35 lbs of fresh, certified organic fruits and vegetables per delivery. The amounts vary according to market, season and availability and the shares are always split equally. A typical listing may be viewed on the About the Club Page.

How do I get my order?

You can arrange a convenient time to pick it up here in Wellington. We will do our best to work around your schedule. At that time you would give us your empty totes (we provide them), and pre pay for the next delivery.

What if I will be out of town on my scheduled delivery day?

You would need to find someone to pick up your produce share for you if you are unable to come pick up during regular pick up times. If you will be away for more than one pick up date you will need to find someone to buy your share.  You will need to let your host know of your plans in advance.

What if I want extra produce?

Let us know 3 or 4 days prior to your next delivery date to have those extra items delivered along with your next delivery.

What if I want extra fruit?

You can order extra fruit shares at an additional charge, however we need at least five members per group to participate.

What if it's too much produce for me?

If you can find someone to split your share with you that would be ideal. However, we will do our best to help you find a partner to share with if necessary.

What if I don't like it?

We suggest that you try just three times before making your decision and we ask that you give your host at least two weeks notice to allow them time to fill your spot.
